Introducing our newest clothing line: the "Jake Zuurbier Art Coll.". Made up entirely from artworks and quotes from Jake Zuurbier's works (both art and writing), this collection will feature stunning & vibrant graphic art tees, fine art clothing and more.
In a world of AI slop and mass produced fast fashion, this clothing line will be an antithesis to this trend. Most items in the line will be made from eco-friendly, organic materials, and the art will be entirely designed by Zuurbier, no AI involved at any point in the process. As such, the collection will update little by little over time, growing with every piece of art Zuurbier deems suitable for clothing pieces.
"I love creating physical artworks––like a painting, or even just a simple sketch. There is something about it that is much more satisfying than if you were to draw digitally. I do use both mediums, but I far prefer physical art. Why people use AI in creative fields is beyond me. Art is a practice, something you'll get better at the more you do it. That is the point of art. Not simply beauty or aesthetics." – Jake Zuurbier
Who is Jake Zuurbier?

Jake Zuurbier, born in 2002, is a multifaceted Dutch artist whose creative endeavors span far and wide. His hobbies include weightlifting, cooking, playing the guitar, and reading. He's held many very different jobs, ranging from working in a casino to working in a hotel-restaurant's kitchen, a hardware store, a refugee center and was a floor manager in a clothing store.
As the founder of Apollo Imperium, he has established a platform that reflects his diverse artistic passions. Through Apollo Imperium, he seeks to spread the love for art and literature. He loves working with artists and authors, and enjoys being a part of the community on social media. He is adamant about not using AI or drop shippers like AliExpress, not for creating things but not for selling them, either.
"There is enough 'quantity over quality' out there. I want to focus on quality, on retaining the humanity in human fields. The easy route is not always the right one." – Jake Zuurbier
In literature, Jake is recognized for his innovative narrative techniques and unique perspectives. His debut novel, "The Detective," published in February 2023, offers a modern twist on classic murder mysteries. His second book, "Erisseth," released in January 2024, delves into themes of magic, love, and betrayal, showcasing his versatility as an author. In 2025, he released "Darius," his first romance/drama – a queer one, at that.
Beyond writing, Jake's artistic expression includes painting and sketching, with his visual art characterized by a blend of traditional techniques and contemporary themes. He prefers physical art, but enjoys creating digital art every now and again, too. His photography reflects his keen eye for detail and composition.
"Somehow, even though I dread painting water because I find it incredibly difficult, most of my art features water of some kind." – Jake Zuurbier
Using Eco-Friendly Materials
As mentioned before, most items in the collection will be made from eco-friendly materials. There will be exceptions, but that doesn't mean they will be similar in quality to say a Shein or an AliExpress product. We take care to only import blank items (before print) that we know are of good quality.
All of our items are only printed and created once an order is placed, which saves a lot of fabric and material from ending up in landfills. Landfills are a growing issue thanks to fast fashion and short-lived fashion trends.
We're giving classics and new releases a home. First and foremost an online book- and art store. Committed to cataloguing real, human stories & art in the age of the artificial, and to leave our ecological footprint as small as possible. All of our products are created or printed only when an order is placed, so no item ends up in a landfill.
Our collection spans across multiple mediums, including novels, art works (and prints), poetry collections, bookish items like stickers & clothing, photography works, home decor, meditation, zines and more.
